Lionfish Hunting
This type of dive is for those eager to help cull this invasive species plagueing us in our Caribbean waters. These fish do not belong here, they have no natural predators so they destroy fragile ecosystems that we depend upon so heavily on our tiny island paradise. So we do our best to remove them whereever and whenever we can. Bonus for us though, these guys are pretty tasty, if you’re into ceviche these little monsters turn into the best you’ve ever had. Our crew will happily process these fish for you if you’d like to take them back home for a meal, once they are big enough to be worth the effort since they are a bit tricky to prepare.

This dive is limited to Certified Divers Only
All scuba equipment is provided as well as a polespear. One of our crew will carry a Lionfish Keep to secure your catch. If you’ve never handled Lionfish or used a polespear before, we will give you a safety briefing on how to properly handle these fish and some tips and tricks on how to be more successful in securing your catch.
